It would be helpful to develop a mindset which accepts both success and failure without a sense of euphoria or a sinking feeling of being a failure in life. Happiness is not based only on one’s achievements, and acquisitions of a material nature in life. These are temporary, and only partially satisfying. Unfortunately, an entire lifetime is spent chasing an oasis while the fountain of bliss lies deep within us. It needs to be understood, that at the inner core of a person, there is a fountain of various hues and colours in the form of compassion, gratitude, empathy, and resilience. They are intangible but are capable of invoking bliss which cannot be described as it seems to be surreal. It is a kind of bliss which no material acquisition or possession can ever match. No symphony sounds better than the flute of compassion, the violin of empathy, the piano of gratitude, and the beautiful chords and rhythm of selfless service that spring from the bottom of the heart. When there is a way to find a meaning, a higher purpose in life, and produce a wonderful symphony which brings inexplicable bliss, why go looking for something which only gives temporal happiness.?
