Interviewer: Congratulations for the release of your poetry book – Neelesh Chojjar ji! What is the book all about and who would you recommend it to?

Neelesh Chojjar: So, Humjoli is a collection of shayari’s on love and life. Humjoli takes you to the journey of the poet’s life who is in love with someone and how he expresses his loved one, his partner through an alluring set of words displaying a variety of emotions and not only he describes his loved one but having his life as his friend and unveiling his emotions about the turns and pains life has through a beautiful collection of words, giving a wholesome experience of love and life, with happiness filled in every page. I would recommend it to those who are interested in shayari’s and those who are in deeply love with someone and whose presence and happiness matters to them the most.

Interviewer: Please tell me about poetry? What is your perception about poetry?

Neelesh Chojjar: Poetry is a path, a way to convey your feelings, your emotions to the world out there through a bond of beautiful words displayed on a piece of paper. Poetry for me is not just a page with words, it is not just a collection of beautiful words. It is just a way to convey the truth to the reality, through the bond of these words.

Interviewer: Who is the most supportive person in your life when it comes to your writing?

Neelesh Chojjar: Each and every person in my life has been supportive when it comes to my writing, from my family, relatives, to my loved one and my friends, all have supported me since the biggening. But it is my mother who has been the most supportive when it comes to writing and not only writing but in every sphere of my life. She is like, “keep writing, don’t stop it” but at the same time she is like, “don’t just keep writing, concentrate on your studies also!”

Interviewer: How did you go about the writing process? Are you a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one?

Neelesh Chojjar: So, I used to go on the terrace or just on a walk in the park and at that time I would like to remember my loved one and would start expressing her beauty in my way like what I felt, so, the “Mohhabat” part of the book was completed like this and the “Zindagi” part was completed by the stories of life from my father, my mother, my sisters and in general like what I felt about life. And about being a spontaneous writer or a disciplined one. You can say I am both like when the deadline of completing the book is not close, I am a disciplined writer but when the deadline is close, I am a spontaneous one.

Interviewer: Humjoli is a collection of Hindi poems. Please let the readers know what inspired the idea for this book?

Neelesh Chojjar: It was the one I love. She was the one who inspired me to write this book. This book is dedicated to her.

Interviewer: In creation of poetry, what you think is more dominant – the thought or the emotions?

Neelesh Chojjar: It’s a mixture of both, you think of something and with your emotions poured into it, you express it through a bond of beautiful words.

Interviewer: What are some of your other interests apart from writing?

Neelesh Chojjar: I am a podcaster. I have two podcasting channels, one is “All in One Podcast” and the other is “StoryTime”. I love to research about the universe and about various interesting concepts of science, you can say I am nerd hahaha…But yes apart from this I love to play Football and Cricket and listen to Music, even make some.

Interviewer: Please share any stanza you have written and you repeat it most of the times.

Neelesh Chojjar:

तुम्हारी आँखें जब निहारता हूँ
तो नजरें जन्नत घूमती है

It is not the same everywhere but is expressed through a combination of different words.
