My Review
Wish I could tell you is yet another remarkable work by Durjoy Dutta. As compared to his famous and renowned works like Now That You’re Rich or She Broke Up, I Didn’t! or You Were My Crush or If It’s Not Forever, this one stands out on its own with respect to the style, delivery presentation and context. While it is different it does hold Durjoy’s signature points of his work- the story is very much in sync with current times, it is like speaking to the readers and voices out its story as you read.
Story is brought about through few contrasting characters among whom Mohini might reach out to you the most. The characters are in level, they are brought about well along with the story, you will be able to feel what they are going through along with them as you read. Many will be able find themselves in the main characters of this story, at the least a few fragments of reflection of what you are or what you have experienced. I believe the character growth is the highlight of this book, it is quite refreshing, heart stirring as well as impactful.
Overall, I enjoyed this book pretty well and liked it well and good. It is to be noted that the book does not reach the expectation mark from Durjoy quite well but it works out pretty well. It could make up for a touching reading experience and the drama and the feelings. The cover design is pretty amazing and is very much attractive, it gets your attention really quick. The book is worth a shot.
