Biographical Info: Rishab Gupta is a 24-year-old author residing in Kurukshetra. He has done his degree in Bachelor of Commerce. Currently, he is running his business and also likes to participate in many competitions and other activities.

Interviewer: Congratulations on the release of your book “The Unexpected Bond”, Rishab GuptaJi! Tell us something about your book?
Rishab Gupta: Thank you so much for the honour. Recently, released my book “The Unexpected Bond” is the novel based on the companionship, loyalty, true love of dogs towards the humans and to promote the love and affection for the dogs by human beings. Dogs actually love physical affection and often seek it out from their favourite people. We’re not saying you should pick up your dog and give it a super tight bear hug. Rather, pets, cuddles, leans, and maybe even gentle hugs are strong signals that you and your dog are truly bonded.
Interviewer: What period of your life do you find you write about most often? (child, teenager, young adult)
Rishab Gupta: Now as a young adult, I most often like to write about young age thoughts, interact with a young person. Youth represents a person capable where we can behave with a lot of love and emotions.
Interviewer: What did it dawn upon you that you wanted to be a writer? Do you have a set schedule for writing or are you one of those who write only when they feel inspired?
Rishab Gupta: I wanted to be a writer from the beginning. So whenever I used to get time, I would choose a topic and start writing on it. One does not have to be inspired every time to write, inspiration is found only once in life. Ideas have given me inspiration to write, if we can transform our thoughts into words then we can definitely become a writer.
Interviewer: Who are your favourite authors? And name one book that you like most among all the others you have read.
Rishab Gupta: There are so many great writers and novelists, that it is difficult to keep the list short. But William Shakespeare, Rabindranath Tagore, Chetan Bhagat, Premchand and others are my favourite authors and my favourite books are Gitanjali, Soj-e-Vatan etc. These are my favourite authors because they inspire me a lot.
Interviewer: What other genres do you enjoy reading?
Rishab Gupta: I like to read about universe because the universe is all of space and time and their contents, including planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of matter and energy. I read articles on different topics and I always try to read new and innovative stories. Except this I also like to read mystery books.
Interviewer: What is your current goal in writing career?
Rishab Gupta: As you know that I am beginner in this field so whenever I got time I always try to write something and this is my first book “The Unexpected Bond” about the bonding of dog and boy so if I get better response in this then, I will definitely go for my next book and I just want to write more suspicious and innovative stories in future.
Interviewer: If you could ask one successful author three questions about writing, writing process or books, what would they be?
Rishab Gupta: If I get a chance to meet a famous writer, I would like to ask him these types of questions:-
1. How can a book become a righteous book?
2. What kind of words should a writer use?
3. What should be the working style of a writer?
Interviewer: Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly?
Rishab Gupta: Yes, of course. Why should emotions be the determining factor? Having strong feelings is merely a character trait. It doesn’t make you better or wiser or more talented or imaginative. There is no complete person, if a person is not able to write on one subject, then he should write on other subjects, he will definitely go ahead in his writing career.
Interviewer: Any advice you would like to give to aspiring writers?
Rishab Gupta: I want to give advice to the aspiring writers that take a time and grab a good content for your book and use some catchy words in it. Before you write any book you must read other related books and then write your book.
Interviewer: What do you hope your readers take away from this book?
Rishab Gupta: My Dear Readers, It is with great moment that I announce the release of my first book “The Unexpected Bond” a story of a boy and a dog.
As we all know human always shares a special bond with their pets. In the world where we are suffering from major problems like anxiety, depression etc pets, especially dogs and cats, can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness and even improve your cardiovascular health.
Caring for an animal can help children grow up more secure and active. Pets also provide valuable companionship for older adults. Keeping this in mind I wrote this book. I hope I will get the appreciation and support of you. Thank you and waiting for your valuable responses.
