Description

The Sunny Poems – Exodus: Homage To Moses, The Messiah

Poet Gobinda Biswas, an assistant teacher at Vivekanandanagar Vivekananda High School (HS), Vivekanandanagar, Babla-Gobindapur, Shantipur, Nadia, West Bengal, India, has always had a soft corner for people all over the world. He believes it would be wonderful if there were only one nation on this globe — the World Nation. In such a world, there would be no passports or visas, and people could travel everywhere without restrictions.

He dreams of a world free from hatred, injustice, tyranny, violence, and bloodshed — a world built on equality, liberty, and fraternity. He also envisions a smiling, sunny world where everyone has access to food, clothing, shelter, health, and education. To him, all people are his near and dear ones.

Inspired by these ideals, he has composed The Dream Railway to Global Peace, Tears Have No Border, and Let All Smile. He emphasizes the power of love in works such as Only Love Can Conquer, Love Never Dies, and Love on the Dover Beach. He has also portrayed the pity of war — “the pity war distilled” — in The Trojan War: An All-Out Destruction.

In his poem I Am Jolly Speaking, he shows how true education can transform satans into gods. In The World: One Flower Garden, he imagines the entire world as a single, harmonious garden.
